With a strong agricultural background, Dr. Robert Beckett speaks widely on the case for creation.
Dr. Robert Beckett (BAgr, MS, PhD, DipTh) grew up in a Christian home on a farm in Ballinderry, County Antrim, Northern Ireland, and trusted Christ as his personal Savior at the age of 13 years. He graduated in Agriculture at Queens University before pursuing post graduate studies at Ohio State University, obtaining an MS in Reproductive Physiology and a PhD in Animal Genetics. Returning home to Belfast he worked for several years as an Animal Breeding Specialist with the Department of Agriculture before three years of full-time theological study for the ministry of the church. Dr. Beckett has worked as a minister of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church for many years in North Belfast during which time he has taken a keen interest in the creation-evolution debate and has spoken widely on the case for creation.
