Shyla Allard has been a Bible and Christian worldview teacher at Grace Church in Eden Prairie, Minnesota, for nearly 15 years. During that time she has taught hundreds of children and youth about creation, apologetics, and other worldview topics at churches, in schools, and in home Bible studies. In January of 2013, she was featured in Answers magazine in an article that highlighted her church’s worldview teaching program and her guided tour for students through the Field Museum of Chicago where she contrasts the secular, evolutionary worldview with biblical truth. In addition to her teaching, Shyla has been a regular speaker for the Twin City Creation Science Association and was a featured speaker at the Creation Museum in Kentucky for the 2014 Children’s Ministry Conference. Shyla has a Bachelor of Science from Iowa State, a Master of Management from Northwestern University, and has her own consulting practice. She is also a graduate of the Answers in Genesis online courses in geology, biology, astronomy, and creation apologetics. Shyla has been married to her husband, Todd, for 25 years, and they have two teenage sons.
Answers in Genesis is an apologetics ministry, dedicated to helping Christians defend their faith and proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ.
