Nicole Chavers Stratton, the artistic director of the Academy of Arts Ministry, is the daughter of The Academy of Arts founders, Nicky and Sheri Chavers. She graduated from The Academy of Arts’ conservatory program and received her master’s degree in sacred fine arts in 2004. Nicole has traveled to over 20 states directing weeklong drama seminars that involve well over 30,000 students. For nearly 20 years, Nicole has written, directed, and produced professional, God-honoring stage and film productions that rival the excellence of Broadway. She worked directly with Douglas Gresham, the stepson of C. S. Lewis, and he saw Nicole’s original adaptations from The Chronicles of Narnia and has given his full support and blessing for all the stories in the Narnia series to be adapted and produced for the stage. She has personally acted and sung in over 400 productions and has taught thousands of young people for nearly 25 years. Her greatest passion is to inspire others by teaching the communicative nature of God, and she is a highly sought-after public speaker on the biblical worldview of communication, speech, tone, modesty, and music. She is married to Noah Stratton, president of The Academy of Arts, and together they have one son, Brinton.
