Jesse Gould

Scenic Designer & Technical Director, Logos Theatre

Jesse’s journey in theatre began at age 13, when he was first introduced to puppetry by helping construct 30 Muppet-style puppets for Rabbit’s Takeover the Logos. This sparked a passion for puppet building that continued to develop through independent projects and further collaborations. Jesse later went on to assist on the team that built a twenty-foot dragon puppet operated by four performers. Since then, Jesse has spent several years building, maintaining, and performing large-scale puppets.

Today, Jesse combines scenic design, fabrication, and stage technology to create immersive theatrical environments that bring stories to life on stage. With a background in puppetry, performance, and hands-on craftsmanship, he contributes to the development and execution of large-scale theatrical productions.

Jesse serves as scenic designer and technical director for The Academy of Arts' ambitious productions of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, Prince Caspian, and The Horse and His Boy. Through elaborate scenic environments, large-scale puppetry, and technical innovation, he helps bring these imaginative worlds to life on stage.
