Debbie Goodenow

Debbie has been in the classroom since 1991. After graduating from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a BS in elementary education, she spent eight years in Taiwan teaching English to both college students and to children. After returning to the United States, she taught various elementary classes at Salem Wesleyan Academy. Upon completing a master’s degree from Maranatha Baptist University in 2018, Debbie continued teaching at Salem Wesleyan Academy and also taught a variety of elementary methods courses to preservice teachers at Allegheny Wesleyan College. Currently, she is teaching third grade at Answers Academy. When she is not in the classroom, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two adult children. She also enjoys crafting, acrylic painting, and photography.
