Dr. Abner Chou

Dr. Abner Chou is President of The Master’s University & Seminary and the John F. MacArthur Endowed Fellow. A graduate of TMUS, he began teaching there in 2004 and has taught broadly across Bible and theology, including the biblical languages and books from both testaments, and founded the university’s five-year BA/MDiv program. Most recently, he served as head translator of both the Old and New Testaments for the Legacy Standard Bible. Dr. Chou is devoted to helping others behold Scripture for what it truly is: the most compelling revelation of the true and glorious God. He and his wife, Johanna, have four children.
