Answers.tv Launching May 1

We all want some good news at this time of uncertainty. Well, I have some for you that I believe will be an asset for families across the world.

I must admit I’ve often been envious that the secular world has streaming platforms like Netflix, Disney+, Amazon’s Prime Video, and so on. But I’ve also been dismayed that such platforms are being used to push violence and social agendas like LGBTQ, adultery, fornication, abortion, and so on. These shows are indoctrinating kids and adults in an anti-God, secular worldview and “normalizing” aberrant behavior. We also see increasing censorship of Christian teaching on various platforms and by the social media giants.

At AiG we’ve longed for our own streaming platform, but that seemed so far out of reach for us financially.

But once again I’ve been reminded, “For nothing will be impossible with God” (Luke 1:37).

Because of this coronavirus crisis before us and seeing the phenomenal impact AiG was having through social media with livestreaming and the enormous impact of AiG speakers, researchers, workshop leaders, Bible teachers, musicians, and others through hundreds of videos, an AiG supporter approached us to challenge us to do what seemed impossible. He also was aware of the increasing anti-Christian censorship happening in social media. He challenged us to get our own streaming platform constructed and operational quickly.

But how could this happen? This supporter worked out a way to greatly reduce the costs, have other costs be deferred until we were operational and had funds available, and provide us with expertise we just did not have to make this happen. The “Why Answers.tv” page summarizes it all for you.

Here is the amazing aspect of this. Usually it takes an enormous amount of money and up to a year for experts to construct a streaming platform and have enough content to make it viable. This supporter was able to have AiG’s streaming platform built and operational in one month! That’s unheard of. And because of the enormous amount of content we already have, and the dedicated staff who have the expertise to format it all as needed, a mature-looking streaming platform, Answers.tv, is ready to impact the world now!

God has used this awful situation in our world to direct us into an area we thought was just not possible.

But now we need you to help us get this going. We need as many of our supporters to subscribe to this as possible as we work our way to launching this to the public on May 1. Now we already have hundreds of pieces of content on Answers.tv. But this is just the beginning. As we ramp up, there is so much more to come, including a number of videos in Spanish. And we praise the Lord that Ray Comfort of Living Waters is providing a considerable amount of his content for this site also.

Look at it like this. We’re building this massive skyscraper to equip Christians, challenge non-Christians, and help families have access to wonderful God-honoring teaching and programming for all ages. We’ve built the foundation, ground floor, and a few more floors—but there are lots more new floors come. And we need you to help us now continue that building process.
