3 Ways You Can Support AiG on “Giving Tuesday”

Did you know the Tuesday after Thanksgiving is often recognized as “Giving Tuesday”? After thanking God for all the blessings he has given us, “Giving Tuesday” is a reminder to share those blessings with others.

For some people, Giving Tuesday means giving of their time or talents to others. For others, it is the start of their holiday giving as they share financially with ministries, nonprofits, or people they know. Here at Answers in Genesis, we are so thankful for the many individuals and churches who believe in our ministry and are willing to give of their time, talents, and finances to enable us to do what we do.

If you believe in our mission to equip the church with answers, to stand on the authority of God’s Word, and to boldly proclaim the gospel, here are three ways you can get involved this Giving Tuesday (and all year).

  1. Give. Your financial gifts enable us to continue doing what we do here at Answers in Genesis and through our two attractions, which are reaching thousands daily with the gospel. In the coming year, we are thrilled to be adding new Children’s Adventure Areas at both the Ark Encounter and the Creation Museum and completing the next phase of the exciting new upgrades at the Creation Museum.

Thanks to generous supporters, you have the opportunity to double your donation’s impact with a special matching gift opportunity.

Thanks to generous supporters, you have the opportunity to double your donation’s impact with a special matching gift opportunity through December 31, 2018. To learn more or donate now, visit AnswersinGenesis.org/donate.

  2. Volunteer. We are so thankful for all those who volunteer their time and talents at the Creation Museum and Ark Encounter throughout the year. And this time of year we’re especially in need of volunteers for our two free Christmas events, ChristmasTown and ChristmasTime, taking place November 23–December 30, 2018 (closed Christmas Eve and Day).

Our ChristmasTown event at the Creation Museum includes our garden of lights, live nativity, biblical characters, concerts, and more. ChristmasTime at the Ark Encounter features a Glice rink (synthetic ice)—the largest in the US—for ice skating, a beautiful rainbow lights display on the Ark, breathtaking lights throughout the grounds, and so much more. If you would like to volunteer during the Christmas season (or other times throughout the year), please visit CreationMuseum.org/volunteer or ArkEncounter.com/volunteer.

  3. Promote. We want as many people as possible to come to the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum and hear the message of the gospel. Promote these attractions—and our special Christmas events—at your churches and invite your family, friends, and neighbors to come out. If you live far away, consider traveling with a group to visit these attractions and enjoy the spectacular Christmas events.

Thank you for your partnership with us in proclaiming the truth of God’s Word, biblical authority, and the gospel of Jesus Christ.
