Troy Thorne

Troy Thorne has been a vital member of the Sight & Sound production team for more than a decade. Throughout his tenure, he’s furthered the ministry’s creative and innovative approach to storytelling on both stage and screen.

After earning his bachelor of fine arts from Savannah College of Art & Design, Troy built a diverse career in design, excelling in advertising, book publishing, stage and set design, and film production. Today, as the director of production, he guides the teams responsible for sets, media, costumes, lighting, and more. His leadership fosters the seamless collaboration that brings Sight & Sound’s immersive experiences to life.

Troy is passionate about upholding Sight & Sound’s standard of excellence and craftsmanship in every project across the ministry’s branches: Theatres, Films, and Conservatory. Most recently, he has led the production process for Joshua, the 30th-anniversary season of Noah and Daniel, and the upcoming second feature film, A Great Awakening.

Troy and his wife have called Lancaster home for more than 30 years and love life in the quiet countryside.
