Dr. Francine Tan

Dr. Francine Tan was born and raised in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and is a certified biblical counselor with the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors. She holds a BA from UCLA, an MA in biblical counseling from The Master’s University, and a PhD in applied theology with a concentration in biblical counseling from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Her doctoral dissertation explored trauma by examining its theoretical history and neuroscientific claims from a biblical worldview.
