Dirk Hill

Dirk Hill and his wife, Laura, currently live in Fishers, Indiana. Dirk works at Riverview Health Hospital as a medical laboratory technologist and is seeking God’s will to plant a Deaf church in the Indianapolis area. Laura works at Indiana School for the Deaf as the assistant principal for the early childhood education program and elementary school.

Dirk has been involved in the ministry since 1998. He has served in various churches in Texas. Dirk and Laura planted a church in Tyler, Texas, known as New Beginnings Deaf Fellowship, where they served for nine years before moving to Richmond, Virginia, in 2019. While in Virginia, Dirk served as the pastor of Deaf Mission at Richmond’s First Baptist Church for five years before relocating to Indiana for Laura’s job.

Dirk has been married to Laura for almost 28 years, and they have two children: Dakota and Lexi. Dakota currently lives in Fort Worth, Texas, and attends Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is engaged to Teagan Gleason, and wedding bells will be ringing in 2025. Lexi lives in Virginia and works as the assistant director for the Center for Democracy in Deaf America (CDDA) at Gallaudet University. She is also working on her master’s degree at the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
