Stuck in Censorship Mode

Four years after the legal battle began, the school board of Cobb County, Georgia, U.S., gave up its effort to place stickers in school textbooks stating that evolution is not a fact.

Under withering pressure from the scientific establishment, the board caved. But does this supposed victory for “science” mean science classrooms are now free of religious influence? The classrooms certainly are not free of the humanists’ view of life. Having no belief in God is just as much a religious concept as a belief in God.

Christian parents have a right and a duty to teach their young people that the Bible is the history book of the universe. They should have the freedom to have their views presented in the classroom, but when legal recourse fails, it is more important than ever that they teach the Bible’s view of history and science in the home and in the church.
