Planning a vacation for this spring or summer? Visiting a theme park or two? Have you considered adding “evangelism tools” to your packing list? Christian apparel, such as T-shirts, hats, and bags with Bible-affirming messages, can be great evangelistic tools. They are great conversation starters, too.
While vacationing in Orlando, Florida, Kim Robertson and her family decided to visit several theme parks. She wore a colorful T-shirt with dinosaurs on the back and the words “The Answer Changed My Life.” The bottom listed a creationist website. Kim says the shirt generated numerous conversations while waiting in line for rides. She was able to explain where dinosaurs came from, what the Bible says about them, and how most of them died as a result of the worldwide Flood.
Then she followed up with a business-size card that says on the front, “Got Questions? Get Answers!” and the back gives a creation website. When her family ate at restaurants, they would leave the cards along with the tip.
Next time you plan a vacation, keep this in mind: the creation message—don’t leave home without it!
