According to a poll in May 2020, a startling 40% of American families said they were “more likely” to homeschool their children after the lockdowns end. Well, that was back in May. Now that we’re into August with the beginning of the school year looming and schools announcing their plans for reopening this fall, a new poll has found that 82%—that’s right, 8 in 10—of parents “are at least considering keeping their children home through 2021.”
This means there are many new homeschoolers, and you might be one of them. If you’re new to homeschooling, I encourage you to check out the article by AiG’s Avery Foley on “Five Tips for Beginning Homeschooling.” In this article, Avery mentions a variety of Answers in Genesis resources that you may find helpful as you plan your curricula for the 2020–2021 school year.
Here are just a few of the resources she mentions (and all these resources are currently on sale at AnswersBookstore.com on our homeschool specials page):
Find these resources, and more, to help you on your homeschooling adventure at AnswersBookstore.com, and be sure to check out the homeschooling sale page.
Thanks for stopping by and thanks for praying,
Ken
