For Christmas, I received a very thoughtful handmade gift from a ministry friend in Colorado by the name of Bryan. See the photo of his gift below. Bryan is well aware that one of the themes of our Ark Encounter (opening July 7 in Northern Kentucky) will include the use of a door, and how we link it to the gospel message. You see, just as Noah and his family had to go through the one door to be saved, so we need to go through the one door, Jesus Christ, to be saved. Jesus said, “
I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture” (John 10:9).
Here is what Bryan inscribed on the back of his special gift:
Thank you for being an inspiration to me and to countless others, and for being obedient to God¹s will and His purpose for your life. I earnestly pray that the Lord Jesus Christ continues to bless and use AiG to reach multitudes of lost people He so dearly loves, and to equip His Bride and embolden her to resubmit to Him and honor Him by standing boldly, unashamedly, and uncompromisingly (as you always mention) on His very own Word from the very first verse. May this gift be an encouraging reminder to keep going strong with the Ark Encounter, and to continue to teach people that Jesus is the door whom all must enter to be saved from judgment, just as the door to the Ark once was.
For the furtherance of His Kingdom,
You can stay up-to-date on the construction of the Ark, being built in Northern Kentucky (south of Cincinnati and north of Lexington) by going to ArkEncounter.com. While there, you can also watch a 30-second TV commercial that we aired New Year¹s Eve on the Fox News Channel just before the famed ball dropped in Times Square (New York). The professionally done TV spot will be shown on many other media outlets over the coming months as part of our pre-opening campaign.
By the way, I am in Australia right now visiting some family, but I am looking forward to returning in a couple of weeks to see the construction progress at the Ark site.
I wish you a blessed New Year, all the way from Australia!
Thanks for stopping by and thanks for praying,
