AiG’s Influence in a Canadian Church

by Ken Ham on July 30, 2010

I was thrilled recently to receive a series of photographs of a display in a Canadian church where AiG has ministered in the past, and where there are avid AiG supporters. Instead of discarding the color pictures that were used in various Sunday school lessons, some AiG supporters in this Ontario church decided to use the photos to teach people the truth concerning the history in God’s Word. Even though these pictures are in the children’s area, they really put them there for the adults as well when they drop their children off. What they have done is line the pictures up in an order to put in some key historical dates from the Bible for certain key events. This in itself is a great witness, because even many Christian publications and Christian schools have adopted secular dates for historical events—thus undermining the authority of God’s Word. Look at the following photos, as they speak for themselves:

Let’s pray that more people begin doing this sort of thing in churches across our world.

Devotion

Take hold of my strength, that he may make peace with me

(Isaiah 27:4-5) Fury is not in me: who would set the briers and thorns against me in battle? I would go through them, I would burn them together. Or let him take hold of my strength, that he may make peace with me; and he shall make peace with me.

We thank the Lord Jesus Christ that now is not the day of His fury against sin, but now He wants to save weak sinners from their sin, so we preach the gospel.

Thanks for stopping by and thanks for praying,

Ken
