This past week I was interviewed on the radio and by news reporters about the new natural selection exhibit that opened at the Creation Museum this past Sunday afternoon. One of the things I’ve found is that most reporters (in fact most people—whether Christian or non-Christian) do not understand natural selection and think that this process supports or proves Darwinian evolution.
To some it seems incredulous that we at Answers in Genesis would agree with Darwin in regard to natural selection and speciation. However, the new exhibit (as well as the many articles on our website that were written over the years) help people to understand that what is happening in the process of natural selection and speciation is actually the opposite of Darwinian evolution in the molecules-to-man sense.
I found I had to spend considerable time with the media this week explaining this in detail. One can observe different species within a group or kind (usually at the family level of classification)—but that has nothing to do with changing one kind into a different kind, which is ultimately what Darwinian evolution is all about. Here are links to a couple of the many articles that appeared this week (some of the articles were reprinted on numerous websites):

Here are a couple of photos of the Natural Selection exhibit! I trust you can visit the Creation Museum soon not only to see this new exhibit, but to experience the world-class walk through the 7 C’s that our highly creative team put together! (Really—it’s a walk through the Bible, but using geology, astronomy, anthropology, biology, etc. to answer the skeptical questions of the age.)
Dr. David Crandall, Director of AiG Worldwide, just returned from Seoul (South Korea) and Japan. Dr. Crandall was paving the way for an AiG outreach in these countries. In a few months, I will go to Japan with Dr. Crandall to have a number of my talks video taped and translated into Japanese. Here are some photos Dr. Crandall sent:
God remembered Abraham and sent Lot out
(Genesis 19:29) And it came to pass, when God destroyed the cities of the plain, that God remembered Abraham, and sent Lot out of the midst of the overthrow, when he overthrew the cities in the which Lot dwelt.
Before the Lord Jesus Christ saves the lost from destruction, He burdens His faithful prayer warriors to pray for the salvation of the lost.
Thanks for stopping by and thanks for praying,
Ken
