AiG’s bookstore in the Creation Museum is nearing completion (see the three photographs). Sometime next month we expect it will be fully functional. It is exciting to see the progress at the museum. The whole place is a hive of activity right now as staff, volunteers and various contractors are involved in all sorts of construction projects. Please pray for the $4.75 million left to complete the $25 million that needed to be raised.
The online edition of Science and Theology News reports on Christian college professors (such as one from Calvin College) who teach evolution. The article begins:
Christian schools are teaching evolution with a method that is sensitive to Christian values.
As a Christian, Curt Blankespoor believes in biblical infallibility. He accepts as part of his faith that the Bible is the inerrant word of God. God created the world and man in his own image, said Blankespoor, a biology professor at Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Mich. a Christian institution of the reformed tradition. His faith makes the answer to why we were created easy. But when it comes to how God created the world, the evolutionary biologist supports the scientific stance on evolution. Blankespoor is typical of many Christian professors who teach science around the United States—they are teaching evolution, often with rigor equal to their colleagues at secular colleges.

Agape Press often features positive stories about AiG and the Creation Museum. Here is their latest release dealing with the Creation Museum:
Progress is being made on a facility that will house exhibits designed to proclaim the authority and accuracy of the Bible from Genesis to Revelation. The Creation Museum, located near the Cincinnati International Airport in northern Kentucky, is well under way; and later this month, the museum will be unveiling its large and uniquely designed bookstore. The Creation Museum is a project of Answers in Genesis , a ministry that helps Christians become equipped to defend the biblical account of creation. The 50,000-square-foot museum will feature exhibits and other teaching tools that will show visitors how science confirms biblical history.

Well, guess what I did this afternoon—I mowed the lawn!
In addition to numerous meetings, I spoke to a group of pastors who were guests for lunch at AiG today.
Thanks for stopping by,
Ken
