14 Year-Old Encouraged by AiG and Learns to Defend His Faith

A 14-year-old from Georgia shares about how the ministry has blessed him and taught him the truth.

Dear Mr. Ken Ham,

I would like to commend you for your wonderful work! My name is T.R. and I am 14 and in the 9th grade. I want to tell you how much of an impact you have had in my life. I have been a Christian all of my life, yet I was plagued with the tales of earth being millions of years old. I did not believe in evolution, but I did not know what evolution was. I believed that dinosaurs lived millions of years ago, and that they turned into birds (I was so young I had no idea that this was evolution). But for the past few years, I have been listening to you on WLFJ 89.3 FM, and you have had a profound impact on my life. Now I have many, many, many answers to a Non-Christian's argument.

Every day before and after school I get on your website and take notes about many things. I also have an amazing book called "Infallable Proofs: Evidences for the Christian Faith" by Henry Morris.

Everything you say is entirely convincing, not only becuase it agrees with the Bible, but because you have evidences to back it up. Even if evolution had "evidences", I still would not believe, because it disagrees with the Bible. It is a completely ignorant theory, and in fact not a theory. Because in the dictionairy it says that a scientific theory is a theory that can be tested. Well, evolution in no way can be tested, so what is it? Like you said, a religion.

In textbooks at school, they treat evolution as a fact, and they do not show any fallacies to this "theory". If they do that, they should at least give Creation a chance.

Anyways, I also listen to all of your seminars on the web, and you have answered all of my questions. I agree entirely about your views on abortion, homosexuality, etc., and I enjoy explaining to my friends about what I have learned. You have also helped me determine a career that I would like to pursue. It would be the same as you.
