A recent story from Canada highlights one of the dangers of euthanasia or “assisted dying.” A terminally ill patient in Ontario wanted to be able to leave the hospital and receive home care. Instead, he claims he was more than once offered the cheaper option—doctor-assisted suicide!

Lately, Canada has been attempting to romanticize the idea of comfortably ending your own life when you’re ready. Some Canadian hospitals even advertise assisted dying in their waiting rooms!

But this is murder. As Christians, we must recognize that human life has value because we’re created in God’s image.
