Between October 26 and 28 of 2017, AiG UK will be hosting the mega conference Inspiring a Genesis Reformation.
Why call the conference Inspiring a Genesis Reformation? Well, the conference will take place near the 500th anniversary of the Protestant Reformation. One of the mottos of the Protestant Reformation was “post tenebras lux” (after darkness, light). This motto was referring to the reawakening of biblical truth in a time of spiritual darkness. In the sixteenth century the light of the gospel had been eclipsed by the teaching of the Roman Catholic Church. Yet when the gospel was rediscovered, it was as though the light of the sun was shining through, and the world was changed.
For the last 200 years the church in the UK and Europe has been in a spiritual time of darkness; once again we need a reawakening of biblical truth. This darkness has largely come about because many churches, in their understanding of Genesis 1–11, have accommodated with the teaching of Darwinian evolution and the idea of the great age of the earth (millions of years).
This unique conference will bring together some of the best creation speakers and apologists from around the world to the UK. I have the privilege of speaking along with Ken Ham, Dr. Voddie Baucham, John Mackay, Dr. Danny Faulkner, Steve Ham, Paul Garner, Dr. Steve Lloyd, Professor Andy McIntosh, and Professor Stuart Burgess. The conference will cover such issues as apologetics, evangelism, biblical authority, science, and design. Please consider joining us for the biggest creation conference of the year, as we stand our ground against the lie of evolution’s millions of years and proclaim the truth for the glory of Christ.
