Starting the Day with a Song

Our AiG staff had a real treat for our morning chapel yesterday, as dinosaur sculptor and singer Buddy Davis sang a number of songs from his new CD albums—I Am Not Ashamed of the Gospel of Christ and Come On Board—which were just released.

Come On Board has many fun songs for the whole family—kids just love Buddy and his catchy songs with words that give great teaching about God’s Word.  Children and parents alike will laugh as they sing, “This Old Boat’s A Rockin,” which is from a song about Noah on the Ark called, “Noah’s Ark Blues.”

Special Guests

We are so privileged to have many special guests visit AiG and the Creation Museum each week.  It was a thrill to host the leadership team from Trinity Baptist Church, Yukon, Oklahoma (near Oklahoma City) this past Tuesday and Wednesday.  Recently, we were invited to conduct an AiG conference in the church.  At that time, the leadership, who are totally committed to the position on Genesis that AiG holds, decided to visit our facility and made an 850-mile drive here.  We had such a great time of friendship and fellowship.  It is so encouraging for us and a thrill to have such a kinship with the leadership of a church like this.  Here is a photograph of the team lead by the senior pastor Dan Fisher (to my right):

Praise the Lord for church leadership teams like this that have such a love for God’s Word, and are prepared to stand on the authority of the Word beginning in Genesis!

Devotion

God does talk with man, and he lives

(Deuteronomy 5:24) we have seen this day that God does talk with man, and he lives.

Drifting away from the Lord Jesus Christ makes us discouraged and depressed, but we find new life in returning and hearing Him speak to us from His Bible.
