Around 1000 people are expected to attend (925 are already pre-registered) our week-long conference (Creation College 3) that begins tomorrow evening here in Northern Kentucky (in a church just 6 miles south of Cincinnati). Most of the attendees are from outside our area and will stay in one of the local hotels.
Please pray for this week of learning and training. Each of the registrants also receives a week-long pass to the Creation Museum (15 minutes away). The evening programs are open to the public at no cost, and you do not have to pre-register. You can obtain more information about the day and evening sessions from the AiG events calendar on the AiG website.
3000 at the Creation MuseumYesterday, 3000 people visited the Creation Museum (over 2000 came Friday). It is thrilling to see so many people from across the USA and around the world pouring into this unique facility.
Creation Museum at the Ball ParkThe Creation Museum this year is again sponsoring Faith Day at the Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati—home of the Reds baseball team. As part of this sponsorship, the Creation Museum is advertised at the Ball Park during the game and at the Christian concert that follows. As one of the photos shows, the Creation Museum has been featured (for a few weeks now) on the ballpark's electronic ribbon-banner scoreboards for half an inning in several games leading up to Faith Day. Then, throughout the day on August 2, the Creation Museum will be mentioned to the tens of thousands of fans attending the game against the Colorado Rockies.
We will also have a booth in the FanZone (see last year's photo, with Carl Kerby of our staff in it; in the white shirt), where we will have museum giveaways and face painting.
Thanks for stopping by and thanks for praying,
