Men’s prayer breakfast

Last Saturday I had the opportunity of sharing a message at a men’s prayer breakfast at Lakeside Christian Church in Lakeside Park, KY. A group of about 35 men met to share a meal and a time of fellowship. There were many questions about the museum and the size of the crowds who have attended thus far. Three groups from this church have visited the museum to date. Several men indicated that in upcoming weeks they had friends and family who will be touring the facility. We praise God for those who have a burden to bring people to the museum.

As many of you know, we recently held our summer Family Camp in Indiana. It was a wonderful time of fellowship, as we had the opportunity of spending time with several hundred AiG supporters. It was, in particular, a genuine time of refreshing for me. As a speaker, it is my privilege to be able to travel frequently for the ministry. The downside of this travel is that I’m not in the office as much as I would like. Family Camp allowed me to spend some real “quality time” with my colleagues on the AiG speaking staff. I was able to sit in audience as they gave many of their new presentations, all of which will be released as DVDs in upcoming months. As the camp progressed, I was continually challenged and encouraged by these messages. The presentations reminded me of the talent and dedication possessed by these individuals. I know you too will be blessed by these new presentations. It was a great week!
