On Saturday, Mally and I drove three hours up to where Buddy and Kay Davis live (Buddy is a singer, speaker, and dinosaur sculptor) to see the latest Buddy Davis sculptures!
I wanted to see the latest “creatures” Buddy has ready for the Creation Museum. Two photographs show Buddy standing with the SALTOSAURUS (sometimes spelt Saltasaurus)—this dinosaur will be outside the building. It is very impressive!
The other photograph shows one of the three Rhamphorhynchoids (flying reptile) Buddy has sculpted for the Dragon Hall Bookstore at the museum. (By the way, these creatures are different to the Pterodactyloids in that they have a long tail).
While visiting Buddy and Kay, we also went to one of our favorite Amish-style restaurants!
The more I see of what is going into the Creation Museum, the more excited I get!
100 NEW SIGN-UPS AT AiG PRAYER WEBSITE
This morning we sent out an email asking our supporters to consider signing up on the AiG Prayer Website to particularly pray concerning the opening of the Creation Museum. Because of the worldwide impact this facility will have and its obvious place in fighting the culture war, we expect increasing opposition/attacks from without and even from within the Christian world for all sorts of reasons.
Please consider signing up to pray with us at the AiG Prayer site.
This is the email we sent out:
Please pray for the Creation Museum. As AiG’s Creation Museum is planning a late May opening and attracting what we believe will be considerable international interest, we recognize that, even during this joyous, celebratory time, there will likely be corresponding attacks on the museum project.
You see, we don’t fight “against flesh and blood but against principalities . . . against spiritual wickedness in high places” (Ephesians 6:12). We would not be surprised if spiritual battles ensue, since, over the years, AiG has experienced intense opposition to the museum. Over the coming months, whether the attacks come from secular humanists—or even from within the church (yes, that happens more than you might think)—we need God’s people to stand with us in prayer more than ever.
With a growing ministry, it would be easy to get so busy with all the new initiatives (especially as we prepare for a museum opening) that we lose focus on what is really important: continually seeking God’s direction and will. AiG seeks your fervent, faithful prayers (1 Thessalonians 5:17; James 5:16) right now.
We’re so excited to see what God has done—and is doing—through AiG’s proclamation of the creation/gospel message. With your prayerful partnership, we want to impact a culture that needs to hear the truths of God’s Word. Would you consider signing up for our online prayer partner ministry? If so, please visit www.aigprayer.org for more information. If you pray for us this week, please let us know. Thank you. -Ken Ham, AiG President P. S. Please also consider forwarding this email to prayer warriors in your church.
Thanks for stopping by and thanks for praying,
Ken
