Introduction to Anatomy & Physiology 2: Curriculum Set

The Wonders of the Human Body Series is an exploration of the awe-inspiring creation that is the human body. Nothing else in the universe is quite like it! Your body is delicate yet powerful, incredibly complex but at times amazingly simple. We will explore the structure, function, and regulation of the body in detail. In Volume Two you will discover:

The Digestive System and Metabolism. The first unit opens with a study of the digestive system that will strengthen the faith of every reader. The function of digestion is a highly complex system created by God to transform food into fuel for our energy, something called metabolism, and to take waste from the body.

The Reproductive System. The second unit covers the complex but orderly processes God designed to make the human body form correctly — processes that are the same in everyone but still allow each person to turn out to be a unique individual. This journey into your past starts with a cell, the basic building block of life.

Special Systems. The third unit completes our exploration of the organ systems. It is no accident that each organ system is perfectly designed to perform its task and work in harmony with the other systems. This includes the blood and its components, the urinary system, the endocrine system, and the integumentary system.

Designed for grades 9 to 12 in a one-year course to earn 1 science credit. Through worksheets, quizzes, and tests, students will solidify their knowledge of the human body, created by the one and only Master Designer.
