2016 Ministry Theme: Time to Enter!

“So Noah, with his sons, his wife, and his sons’ wives, went into the ark because of the waters of the flood” (Genesis 7:7). That’s our theme verse at Answers in Genesis for 2016! AiG is challenging Christians and non-Christians that it’s time to enter!

Time to Enter the Ark

We announced late last year that the life-size Ark (our outreach in Northern Kentucky) will open July 7. Along with our theme “Time to enter,” we have an associated verse: “So Noah, with his sons, his wife, and his sons’ wives, went into the ark because of the waters of the flood” (Genesis 7:7).

In 2016 it’s time for people to enter one of the greatest Christian outreaches of our day. And please note that for the first 40 days and 40 nights of our opening (there will be both day-time admission and night-time admission), tickets will need to be reserved and purchased exclusively online, after January 19 at ArkEncounter.com.

Time to Enter God’s Word

The life-size Ark (510 feet long) is the major part of the Ark Encounter theme park. We want people to encounter Noah’s Ark, and in so doing also have an encounter with God’s Word. Yes, it’s time for non- Christians to enter the Bible to learn the truth about history, including who we are, where we came from, what our problem is (sin), and what the solution is (Jesus). Time to Enter God’s Word Without Compromise!

It’s time for God’s people to enter the Bible’s text and let God speak to them through His Word, instead of adding pagan ideas like evolution and millions of years to God’s Word. Sadly, many in our churches have sinned against God by doing what the Israelites were so prone to do: adopt the pagan religions of the age and compromise the Word of God.

Time to Enter the Door

As people visit the Ark Encounter, not only will they have an encounter with the Ark and God’s Word, but most of all, we want people to have an encounter with the Lord Jesus Christ, our Ark of salvation. Jesus said, “I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture” (John 10:9). Ark visitors will be presented with the message that “if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved” (Romans 10:9).

Time to Enter the Creation Museum

If you haven’t toured the Creation Museum (or haven’t been here in a while), I urge you to visit this incredible, God-honoring facility, and bring family and friends. You will take a walk through the Bible and experience His Word in a unique and powerful way. You will never be the same! Go to CreationMuseum.org.

Time to Enter our “Renew-A-Thon”

This is AiG’s totally new conference concept designed to equip all ages in apologetics. This conference in August is a smorgasbord of options to renew your mind (Romans 12:2) and be refreshed in your spirit!

You can register to attend any of the days over a two-week period (August 1–13) and select a variety of teaching programs at the times that best suit you. With these identical back-to-back weeks, you could, for example, arrive on August 4, a Thursday, rather than August 1, and stay through August 9, a Wednesday, and not miss a thing. And you will have unlimited access to the Creation Museum during Renew-A-Thon, and also get a one-day pass to visit the Ark Encounter 45 minutes away!

Time to Enter Kentucky!

As you contemplate possible vacation destinations this year, how about considering the fun you can have in beautiful Kentucky and nearby Ohio? A great time to take your vacation would be during our Renew-A-Thon conference in August, with ample time set aside for conference attendees to sightsee in the region.

Our burden most of all at AiG is to see people enter the narrow gate and be saved for eternity. That’s what the ministry of Answers in Genesis, Creation Museum, and Ark Encounter is all about: “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it” (Matthew 7:13).

As we begin this new year, we need to tell people that it’s time to enter!
