In far too many places, including here in America, it’s legal to kill the unborn in the name of “women’s rights” or “healthcare.” But we need to call it what it is: murder!
God’s Word gives personhood to the unborn. God told the prophet Jeremiah that he was known before he was formed in the womb. And Psalms tells us that God knits us together fearfully and wonderfully. Scripture is clear: the unborn are persons.
It’s also clear that every person is made in God’s image. And in Genesis we read that killing someone made in God’s image is murder.
Yes, killing the unborn is murder. We need to uphold the value of every life.
