Many Christians add evolution to the Bible, saying we evolved from apelike creatures. But consider this: the Bible says there was a first Adam who sinned and brought death into God’s creation. Now if we evolved, death had existed for millions of years and creation was already filled with suffering, pain, and thorns and thistles. So what did Adam’s sin really do?
No, the Bible is clear—there really was a first Adam who brought death into God’s perfect creation, and that’s why we needed the last Adam, the Lord Jesus, to die a physical death in our place to pay the price for our sin.
The first and last Adams are tied together!
