The Apostle Paul has a beautiful reminder for us as Christians. In one of his letters, he writes that the unrighteous such as the covetous, drunkards, and those who practice homosexuality won’t inherit God’s kingdom. Then he reminds his readers “such were some of you.”
All of us were on that list of those who won’t inherit God’s kingdom before he saved us. But that’s what we were. Now we are forgiven, righteous children of God! Wow!
When reaching others with the gospel, no matter the sins they’re committing, we need to remember that we, too, were once separated from God and filled with sin. But Jesus Christ saved us!
