Five years ago today we opened the Ark Encounter attraction. It features a full-size Noah’s Ark with three decks of exhibits and so much more. But why’d we build it?

Well, for one main reason. To show everyone that because the history in God’s Word is true, the gospel is also true.

You see, the global flood really happened. It’s a reminder that God always judges sin but he also always provides a way of salvation.

Well, God is going to judge sin again. But he’s provided us a way of salvation, Jesus Christ, who died in our place and offers the free gift of eternal life.
