Homology—Evidence of Common Ancestry?

There’s no doubt there’re many similarities among living things. This is called “homology.” It’s often used as evidence of evolution.

But . . . just because something is similar doesn’t mean that it had a common ancestor!

We all use similar designs—like with a bicycle and a motorcycle. But this doesn’t mean they share a common ancestor. They’re similar because they’re designed for the same purpose . . . and to function in a similar environment.

As we show in our Creation Museum, it’s the same in the living world. Living things were all made by a common Designer to live in the same world . . . and perform the same basic purposes. So, it’s no surprise that God used a similar design!
