This is Ken Ham, inviting you to have an encounter with God’s Word at the Ark Encounter.

Transcript

Listen to this story from Western Australia: A man and his family survive a worldwide flood on a raft. He then sends birds to see if the waters have receded.

The man then cooks a kangaroo. Their god, pleased by the smell, puts a rainbow in the sky to stop the rain clouds.

Now, did that sound vaguely familiar? It probably did! This Australian aboriginal legend sounds like a distorted version of the true account of Noah’s flood, recorded in Genesis. Just like the children’s game “Telephone,” it was changed with each generation.

These flood legends, found around the world in different cultures, are a tremendous confirmation the Bible is true.
