Noah’s Daughters-in-Law

All humans can be traced back to three major genetic groups. Now, these groups are Noah’s daughters-in-law. Now, all of us are ultimately descended from one woman—Eve. But ten generations after her, the global Flood reduced the population to just eight people. Since then, there have been about four hundred generations.

Now, if this history recorded in Genesis is true, we’d expect to find few genetic differences between Noah’s daughters-in-law. Since there weren’t many generations before the Flood, there wasn’t time in the world before the Flood for mutations to stack up. And this is exactly what we see. These three women had only a few genetic differences.
