In his letters to various churches, the Apostle Paul encouraged Christians to assist servants of the gospel in any way that they could (e.g., Romans 16:1–2; Philippians 4:3). This is of great importance because servants of the gospel don’t work alone—the work is a partnership with others to spread the message of the gospel, grounded in God’s Word (Philippians 1:5). Many times those who partner with God’s servants do so financially. By meeting their physical needs, the church or individual frees the servants to complete their task for God. And God promises that this work of partnership and support will not be forgotten:
For God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown toward His name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister. And we desire that each one of you show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope until the end. (Hebrews 6:10–11)
We are extremely thankful for the generous and godly men and women who “are God’s fellow workers” (1 Corinthians 3:9) with us as they lift our burden, enabling us to do what God has called us to do.
If you live in America and would like to partner with us here at Answers in Genesis in fulfilling God’s mission, you can do so through planned giving. One form of planned giving is a charitable gift annuity. This is a great choice if you have appreciated stock and are weary of watching the stock markets climb and decline and climb again. When you transfer your appreciated stock to Answers in Genesis, you receive a fixed return. So not only do you contribute to support the future of our ministry and help us to spread the message of biblical authority and the gospel, but you also receive fixed payments for life, giving you a stable income that won’t go up or down with the markets. As a bonus, you can get a substantial income tax deduction when setting up a gift annuity.
We are so thankful for those who partner with us in any way they can, whether that be through one-time gifts, recurring gifts, planned giving, or volunteering. You truly are a blessing to us, and we could not do what we do without you. So, thank you!
