Why Do Brilliant Scientists Reject God?

This scientist was Dr. Craig Venter, a genomics researcher. In other words, he was an expert in DNA, the most complex language and information system in the world. He was one of the researchers who first drafted the human genome. He was a brilliant man who knew an impressive amount about DNA. And yet, as far as we know, he utterly rejected the Creator, attributing the complexity of DNA to random, chance processes. And sometimes Christians wonder how that’s possible. How could an intelligent person who knows so much—and knows how much there is that we don’t know—not see the fingerprint of the Creator?
