Construction Update: New “Waterjet” Cuts Metal for Jerusalem Model

It’s a state-of-the-art OMAX waterjet system that cuts metal at an astonishing 50,000 psi. This amazing cutter will help us fabricate the metal structure that the Jerusalem model will sit on and create tons of parts for other exhibits.

In a way, seeing this machine in operation (using water to cut through metal!) helps you understand the force of water and how catastrophic a global flood would have been. The force of water during the flood would’ve had no problem rapidly carving the geological features we observe around the world.
