All of creation—from the most majestic to the most mundane—sings the praises of the Creator. It was all created by him and for him, and when we pay attention to creation, we should be moved to join our voices with all of creation to glorify God. And that even includes mountains, rocks, and fossils—many of which are reminders of God’s judgment on sin and his mercy in saving Noah and his family and promising to never again flood the earth.
Now, you may never have thought about a majestic mountain range as a reminder of God’s judgment on sin—but that’s really what it is! And you can learn more about flood geology, fossils, and more in a playlist on our Answers in Genesis YouTube channel. This playlist is just one of many on that channel—a channel that has over 667,000 subscribers and 110 million video views! Our YouTube channel is a wonderful, free way to learn so much more about science, the Bible, and the truth of God’s Word. Make sure you join that growing community by subscribing. Here’s just one video from that Flood Geology playlist. And I encourage you to check out the full playlist here:
Be sure to like and share these videos to help spread the message of biblical authority, our Creator God, and the gospel.
Oh, and if you love exploring and learning more about geology, fossils, dinosaurs, and more, I encourage you to consider an upcoming event. During our Explore Fossil Hunt on October 26, 2024, you can hunt for fossils at Caesar Creek Lake in Ohio with paleontologist Dr. Gabriela Haynes. This area is a very popular fossil hunting spot, and as you look for reminders of the flood, you’ll receive teaching and instruction from Dr. Haynes.
Attending this event is a great way to have a fun adventure while you and your older children learn more about the truth of God’s Word and the gospel.
Thanks for stopping by and thanks for praying,
