New upgrades are taking place at the Creation Museum! This month was the start of the demolition of the original zoo buildings in preparation for construction of our new, expanded zoo project. It’s very exciting (especially for our zoo team!), and guests will love the new zoo and everything that’s coming (more on that below).
As you can see in these photos, our zoo facilities team has started removing fencing and taking down all the old zoo buildings.
The new zoo will include beautiful animal exhibit areas, along with some new animals, and a wallaby walk-through. And the surrounding area includes a large glass conservatory which will house a permanent Plants of the Bible exhibit and our coming Eden Teaching Center.
Here’s a rendering of what the new area will look like when completed:
Obviously, due to the demolition and construction work, the Creation Museum zoo is currently closed, but our new zoo, with all the exciting upgrades, should open this summer.
Plan your visit at CreationMuseum.org.
Thanks for stopping by and thanks for praying,
