As they dive into biblical history, they’ll discover deep theological truths, the Bible as the foundation for our thinking, apologetics, and the gospel message from Genesis to Revelation.
Dr. Dana Sneed, a curriculum writer and editor with AiG, took our very popular and powerful ABC Sunday school program and redeveloped the lessons and activities for a homeschool setting. Designed for children in grades K–5 (although it can easily be used for K–8—a video will be posted on the website regarding how to do this), this Bible curriculum takes them through the Bible chronologically in four years. As they dive into biblical history, they’ll discover deep theological truths, the Bible as the foundation for our thinking, apologetics, and the gospel message from Genesis to Revelation.
I urge homeschool families to consider this thirty-six-week curriculum, whether you begin this semester or in the fall. By the time you are nearing the end of the year’s program, the next year will be available for what will be a four-year curriculum. It’s like going to kids’ seminary!
I recently talked with Dr. Dana Sneed, Dr. Georgia Purdom (our director of educational content), and Avery Foley and Bryan Osborne, who are producing Building Blocks (a series of short videos, one for each lesson) featuring object lessons and an interactive timeline to help bring the teaching to life. You can watch that interview below:
Biblical illiteracy is at epidemic proportions throughout the West. Give your children a strong biblical foundation from a young age so they know what they believe and why they believe it with ABC Homeschool. Try sample lessons or order Year One today at AnswersBibleCurriculum.com.
