4 Reasons Why Should You Switch to Answers VBS

I want to encourage churches who put on an annual Vacation Bible School, or churches who are considering doing so, to take a look at Answers VBS. It’s unique, easy to use, and full of Scripture and the gospel. Here are four reasons why I believe you should switch to using Answers VBS:

1. No fluff! Many VBS programs teach basic moral lessons and truths (e.g. God is love). Often there’s no depth, it’s all “fluff”—but kids actually crave depth! Children love learning meaty truths from God’s Word. And that’s what our VBS delivers.

2. Gospel-focused. Jesus and his atoning work on the cross are always the focus of our VBS. We want children to trust in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, so the gospel is featured each day, with a special emphasis during one of the five themed days.
3. Apologetics. We want children to believe the gospel and to know that they can trust the book that the message of Jesus comes from. That’s why each of our VBS programs includes apologetics (faith-defense teaching). This is a very powerful, unique feature you won’t find in other VBS curriculums.
4. Cutting Edge. We often deal with cutting-edge topics that are relevant to today’s culture and need addressing from a biblical perspective—such as the 2019 VBS dealing with the “race” issue! It’s another outstanding VBS to help children (and teachers) develop a truly biblical worldview on a variety of topics.
