In 35 Years “No Single Event Has Ever Had the Impact This [AiG] Conference Did”

Ephesians 4:11–12 shares that our risen Lord gifted the church with ascension gifts in the form of people to disciple and mature the saints of God. Ken Ham and Answers in Genesis just graced First Baptist Indian Trail with an amazing conference that truly fulfilled Christ’s intent. In my 35 years of pastoring, no single event has ever had the impact that this conference did. Our fellowship stands now more ready to defend their faith and confront our culture with the gospel than ever before as a result of this enlightening, educational, and inspiring two days.

Mr. Ham spoke with our 1,400-student academy, and his reception was absolutely amazing. Any speaker who can mesmerize K–4 through 5th grade for an hour and a half must have a great subject and spell bounding delivery. To take such a complex subject and put it in understandable terms on that level deserves all our respect. Every church and Christian school should book this conference.

We’re thankful for pastors like Pastor Whitson who boldly stand on the authority of the Word of God in all areas, and teach and equip their congregations to do the same. These pastors are on the front lines raising up generations that think biblically and make an impact for Christ in this nation.
