Today’s anniversary gives us an opportunity to reflect on God’s blessings over 24 years, including when we faced some “Red Sea” moments—with a sea in front and an enemy army behind and nowhere to go—but God gave us the victory.

Over the years, we have updated our ministry’s history document found on this website. Chronologically, we recount some wonderful victories the Lord has allowed us to enjoy, often amid some difficult challenges. This historical record not only allows us to rejoice in God’s blessings, but also gives an accurate account of how the Creation Museum and Ark Encounter attractions came to be.

This historical record allows us to dispel some of the rumors that continue to circulate on the web about the life-size Ark. These myths include the following: taxpayer money was supposedly used to build the Ark; the Bill Nye debate with Ken Ham allegedly raised so many donations that the Ark Encounter was able to open; and other internet myths and legends.

The history page of our website features an article that presents the 24-year history of AiG, including a hint of what’s in store for the next year or two, as God blesses. I encourage you to read it and be encouraged by how God has blessed and used this ministry. We’re so excited to see what God has in store over the next 24 years and beyond!
