We’re very excited about the additions and expansions coming soon to the Ark Encounter in Northern Kentucky. This spring and summer, there is certainly going to be a flurry of activity around here as we open these new exhibits and attractions. I encourage you to stay up to date with everything going on by following the Ark Encounter blog and Facebook page.
Here are three reasons you should follow the Ark Encounter blog and Facebook:
Keep up with exciting changes and advancements at the Ark Encounter. For example:
Overnights at the Ark
Your group can now stay overnight inside Noah’s Ark! Also included is a delicious continental breakfast and special animal encounters with our zoo animals. You can learn more about other exciting aspects of this unique program in this Facebook Live video I did recently down at the Ark Encounter:
Buffet Lunch and Dinner at Emzara’s Kitchen
We are now offering a delicious lunch and dinner buffet at Emzara’s Kitchen, our 1,500-seat restaurant next to the Ark. You can purchase a ticket for one meal (which includes hot food, a salad bar, dessert, and drinks) or an all-day ticket, which is highly discounted.
New Exhibits and Outdoor Attractions
We have many exciting additions coming to the Ark Encounter over the coming weeks. On February 24 we open our Why the Bible Is True exhibit. This stunning exhibit takes you into the pages of a graphic novel where you follow three college students as they explore questions about the truth of God’s Word and why there is death and suffering in this world.
The expansive exhibit, which takes up a large section of the bow end of the Ark’s third deck, also uses the doors featured in the Bible to present the gospel (John 10:9). It’s a powerful gospel presentation that we believe will touch many people. Plan to come February 24 for the 1 p.m. EST ribbon cutting to open this new exhibit.
In time for summer, we will be opening our two villages on each side of the lake in front of the Ark—West Village and East Village. The West Village, which will be located between the lake and Emzara’s Kitchen, will include working blacksmith and woodcraft shops, a small stage for live animal presentations and music performances, and food and retail kiosks. The East Village will have a walk-through area featuring monument stones giving the true account of the history from the time of creation to God’s call to Noah to build an Ark.
During the year, we will also be expanding the Ararat Ridge Zoo to include even more animals and teaching about created kinds.
And we have the powerful new gospel video As in the Days of Noah coming soon to the third deck. It features the same actors from The Noah Interview (the fascinating short film you will see on the second deck) but in a modern setting. We believe many people will be impacted by the gospel through this video. It’s one of the most powerful presentations of the gospel for today’s world—and it’s centered on the Ark Encounter.

Be “in the know” about special Ark Encounter events.
We’ve already had several special events at the Ark Encounter—such as Día Latino or our special Christmas lighting—with others to come. If you follow the blog, you’ll be one of the first to know.
