2 Buy 2 Billboard Campaign Begins

Today, the Creation Museum begins an exciting new billboard campaign to advertise the museum and also help alert people to the opening of the life-size Ark project in 2016.

We read in Genesis, “Of the birds after their kind, of animals after their kind, and of every creeping thing of the earth after its kind, two of every kind will come to you to keep them alive” (Genesis 6:19–20).

As we are opening the 510-foot-long Ark sometime in 2016, we thought a good lead-up to that was to develop a 2 Buy 2 program at the Creation Museum—buy two tickets and receive two tickets of equal or lesser value free. Also, each ticket to the Creation Museum is good for two days—we want families to spend the time and be able to experience the entire 75,000-square-foot museum: The 7 C’s walk through the Bible, the planetarium, the Special Effects Theater, the beautiful gardens, and the petting zoo. Also at the Creation Museum (located in the greater Cincinnati area), we have the best and biggest zip-line course in the Midwest.

These billboards will first appear in the main “feeder cities,” which include our Cincinnati metropolitan area; Dayton, Ohio; Indianapolis, Indiana; Columbus, Ohio; Louisville, Kentucky; and Lexington, Kentucky. They will then appear in other strategic places across the USA.

Special Opportunity This Year

From June through to at least September this year, people will also have the opportunity to obtain a ticket to visit the Ark Encounter construction site (40 miles away) where we have constructed a special viewing platform. How many times in your life will you ever get to see Noah’s Ark under construction? It is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. The viewing platform will be open most days (weather permitting) beginning June 1 from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Check the Ark Encounter website to buy tickets and for updates to the viewing schedule. Since we have to employ staff and provide parking for this special viewing at the Ark site off I-75 (exit 154), there will be a charge per vehicle to go to the Ark construction site.
