by Ken Ham on October 13, 2014

With the summer behind us, I am excited to announce the two winners of our popular “Flat Ken” travel contest! Both the “Flat Ken’s Summer Adventure” and the “Flat Ken’s Creation Museum”contests turned out to be very popular with kids and adults alike.

I am pleased to congratulate Leann Creasy Griffin for winning the “Flat Ken’s Summer Adventure” contest, receiving more than 1,500 votes. Leann will get the entire prize package worth more than $500, which includes a Family Membership to the Creation Museum.

Both winners were selected because their entries had the most “likes” on the Creation Museum’s Facebook page.

I hope that you had fun taking Flat Ken on your adventures this summer. It is exciting to see so many kids enjoying the solid biblical teaching that the Creation Museum offers. It is so important that we teach our children the truth of God’s Word from an early age. Two-thirds of our young people are walking away from the church—many making a subconscious decision as early as middle school! As parents, we are called to “train up a child in the way he should go” (Proverbs 22:6), and part of that training is Bible-based apologetics. Secularists are getting more and more vocal about preaching their religion of purposelessness to our children, and we need to boldly counteract this.

Flat Ken wants to remind you that kids 12 and under are free in 2014 with a paying adult at the Creation Museum, and it lasts until the end of the year. So why not join us before the year is over? A great time to come see us is in December for the family-friendly Christmas Town, where you can enjoy the Creation Museum and the beautiful garden of lights. Who says that it has to be summer to have an adventure?

Congratulations again to our winners Leann Creasy Griffin and Tammy Bitler-Draper.

Thanks for stopping by and thanks for praying,

Ken
