Planned Parenthood Giving Awards for Abortions

There’s some shocking news being reported about the proabortion group Planned Parenthood!

A former Planned Parenthood staffer claims that the Aurora, Colorado, Planned Parenthood office was recently given an award—for increasing the number of abortions performed! According to one report, the former staffer was at one time the heath center director and says that Planned Parenthood imposed and increased abortion quotas. The award for the Aurora office was allegedly linked to these abortion quotas.

Our secularized culture continues to call evil good—and to exchange life for death:

Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! (Isaiah 5:20)

If this disturbing news is true, it only serves to confirm the dramatic shift that is taking place in the USA. By and large our Western culture has thrown out biblical authority and even some parts of the church are following suit (particularly beginning in Genesis because of the rampant compromise with evolution and/or millions of years)!

You see, for Planned Parenthood, it’s not enough that they specialize in ending human life in the womb. (We really need to call abortion what it is—the murder of children made in the image of God.) They have to find ways to actually encourage women to embrace their warped idea that unborn babies are not really human and can be murdered without regret. We live in a sick culture, where many secularists will oppose the killing of animals, but also want legislation to protect the murdering of children!

But Scripture tells us something very different about human life. For example, Dr. Tommy Mitchell explains when human life begins, saying that God considers unborn babies to be people (humans, made in the image of God), and that He knows us before we’re even formed:

Then the word of the Lord came to me, saying: “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations.” (Jeremiah 1:4–5)

I encourage you to visit the sanctity of life page on our website. And I urge you to pray that more Planned Parenthood staffers would come to believe the gospel and have their eyes opened to the true nature of abortion—the murder of children—and leave that life-hating organization and become a member of God’s family to live with Him for eternity.
