Bill Nye Debate—Live Streamed for Free!

by Ken Ham on January 16, 2014

While I have been on the West Coast this week, a lot of effort has been going on at AiG and the Creation Museum concerning a fantastic outreach opportunity that’s related to my debate with Bill Nye “the Science Guy” on February 4, 2014. We wanted to make sure as many people as possible can view the debate with TV’s Bill Nye, and I’m thrilled to announce that there will be a live stream of the event—and at no cost to you!

Here is the great news: the live stream is powered by Google+ Hangouts On Air, through YouTube. This live and unedited presentation will be available in HD (high definition) for large screen viewing in schools, churches, or other public venues, at no cost. All you will have to do is go to debatelive.org at the time of the debate and you will be able to watch it.

So, at 7 PM (EST in the USA) on Tuesday, February 4, you can use your computer, tablet, or other device to log on to debatelive.org and watch the two-and-a-half-hour debate live!

Find out more about this free live stream by reading the lead article on our website today. Here is how the article starts:

The February 4 debate between Bill Nye and Ken Ham at the Creation Museum has generated tremendous interest across America. Online tickets for the debate in our 900-seat Legacy Hall sold out in less than two minutes, and coverage in the news media, blogs, and other websites has continued to remain intense.

We have been working behind the scenes in an effort to allow all interested people, wherever they are around the globe, to view this debate live. To this end, we are pleased to announce that this debate will be available to view online and free of charge at debatelive.org. We hope that many will take advantage of this opportunity to view the debate in real time. You may watch the debate at home, or organize a gathering to show the live stream to your small group, your youth group, your entire church, or other groups.

A recording of the debate will subsequently be available for purchase on DVD and as a digital download, which will help offset the significant costs in organizing and sponsoring the debate.

The national media—both Christian and secular—has shown a remarkable amount of interest in this debate. In a few days, I’ll tell you about a fantastic national TV opportunity that is related to the debate. So keep an eye out on my Facebook page and this blog!

Before I left for the West Coast, I recorded the following video about the live streaming:

Thanks for stopping by and thanks for praying,
Ken
