A Girl We Will See in Heaven

by Ken Ham on August 22, 2010

One of the Creation Museum’s guest service staff members sent me this email which I just had to pass on to all of you:

Ken, I wanted to share with you some encouraging news from a family who recently came through the museum.

This family heard you speak several years ago at a conference in Toldedo, OH. They were telling me about their daughter who at the time was around 6 years old whom you influenced greatly at the conference. They said you challenged the children to draw pictures of dinosaurs going onto the ark along with the other animals.

They said their daughter . . . did exactly that and gave it to you. You talked at that time about possibly displaying kids' artwork like Sarah's picture at a Creation Museum that you had a vision for in the future. They also shared that you sent them a nice letter, which they framed and hung in their home.

Sadly, they said that [their daughter] passed when she was 11, but they knew she was a Believer and would see her again in Heaven. They believed that conference greatly affected her faith and were very [grateful] as a family for your calling and obedience to this ministry.

I know that you are constantly berated by secularists and must face such discouragement at times, so I wanted to take the opportunity to share with you how much the ministry touched this family and their daughter.

In Jesus, Camille Cates

Thank you, Lord, for entrusting to us such a calling as we have in the Answers in Genesis/Creation Museum ministry.

Thanks for stopping by and thanks for praying,

Ken
