Unabashed Message

It’s encouraging to know that so many high-professional people are Bible-believing Christians and accept the book of Genesis as literal history. We often have PhDs and MDs touring our Creation Museum. A medical doctor from Minnesota was here last week, Dr. Mark Wheaton. Mark’s brother is a good friend of ours: David Wheaton, an international tennis champion and national talk-show host of the radio program The Christian Worldview.

Before he came here with his family, Mark was concerned that it might be challenging to hold the interest of his young sons in the museum—he knew there were many science exhibits inside, for example. His brother, David Wheaton, thought it would not be a problem, though, and he strongly encouraged brother Mark and the nephews to make the 700-mile drive.

Mark wrote to us later about his visit and sent some photos (he wrote to Mark Looy, our CCO).

Mark:

We wanted to send you some pictures from our memorable visit to the Creation Museum. As you can see, William and Winston were thrilled to be there, and Gina and I were thoroughly impressed with everything we experienced.

But beyond the unabashed message that the Genesis account of creation begins with chapter 1 verse 1, literally as written (and not afraid to put it up against the unintelligent Big Bang view), the Creation Museum displayed it all with highest quality and attention to detail, which should be the mark of any Christian endeavor. The special part for us was being received so warmly by you, Mark -- and the rest of the museum staff. You were nice to personally show us around and also show interest in our boys. We enjoyed meeting your wife, as well as Ken Ham and Buddy Davis. Thanks again and we hope to return someday. Mark Wheaton

Take to them every man a lamb

(Exodus 12:3) Speak ye unto all the congregation of Israel, saying, In the tenth day of this month they shall take to them every man a lamb, according to the house of their fathers, a lamb for an house:

The Lord Jesus Christ gave Himself as the provided salvation before the great judgment so we could be saved, all we had to do was to take Him as our Lamb.
